In addition, this type of formula, thanks to the innovative wax microbeads it contains, forms a dirt barrier capable of making the clean last longer by protecting the floor from moisture and abrasion.

LaCera Facile offers a wide selection of self-polishing and anti-slip waxes dedicated to the specificity and diversity of the surfaces to be treated: LaCera Facile for all Floors, LaCera Facile Marble specifically for marble and grit floors with shiny microbeads, LaCera Facile Parquet with Beeswax, LaCera Facile Cotto and Rossa that polishes and waterproofs, specifically for Tuscan terracotta, antique brick, traditional terracotta and modern terracotta, with colored pigments inside to renew Bricks and Red Tiles.

Waxing is a much simpler operation than you might imagine. Emulsio, which has always been a leader in the wax industry, has decided to provide some small tips that can guide you through this operation.

The first thing to do before applying the wax is to make sure the floor is clean by first removing dust and then thoroughly washing the floor with a specific cleaner (such as the products in the Emulsio Ravviva line with many specific references for marble, fine floors, parquet, terracotta and natural stone).

Once dry, the wax will be applied.

The choice of wax should be specific to the type of floor to be treated; choose your favorite among all the products.

The choice of cloth to use is crucial; it should be well clean and soft (e.g., microfiber) Absolutely contraindicated are ordinary honeycomb ones.

1. First moisten the cloth well with water and wring it out thoroughly.
2. At this point you can proceed in two ways depending on your preferences and cleaning habits either by pouring the wax directly on small portions of the floor by drawing 8's (for the more experienced) or by pouring the wax into a bowl without adding water, soaking the drying cloth and wringing it out lightly.
3. Wipe the cloth in one direction.
4. Spread the product evenly over the entire surface making parallel passes. Do not rub and avoid going over already treated areas (cause streaking!). The cloth should always be well soaked in wax while spreading.
5. Remember to spread the wax starting opposite the exit door.
6. Let it dry very well (only if the wax used is a “Mirror” wax pass the polisher).
7. If you are a lover of a very shiny effect, the moment the floor is completely dry (allow up to 30 minutes-1 hour to pass), wipe it with a woolen rag to make the final result even shinier.

Once you try it you will realize that it is much easier done than said!

The amount of wax depends on the type of floor and its porosity. For example, antique marble floors, or otherwise, subject to heavy traffic, are generally very porous and require more wax than lead-polished floors, which have very low porosity. In general, 150ml of product per 10 square meters of floor to be treated is sufficient. However, enough should be used to evenly wet the floor without creating a buildup. With regular use of wax, the floor will absorb less and less.

The accumulation of numerous layers of wax causes the formation of an uneven film that in some cases tends to peel off the floor in the form of scales. It is therefore advisable, after 2-3 years, to do a radical deep cleaning of the floor in order to totally remove traces of previous layers with the use of a wax remover.
